Chickasaw Heritage Center
Categories: Interior Exhibits
Location: Mississippi
The Chickasaw Nation is developing a new cultural heritage center near Tupelo, Mississippi. Nomad Studio is collaborating with the Chickasaw Nation’s Department of Culture and Humanities, Exhibit Concepts, and D|G Studios to develop approximately 10,000 square feet of exhibits in the new facility.
The exhibits are intended to connect Chickasaw citizens—particularly elders and youth—to their historic homeland in meaningful and tangible ways, while also introducing visitors to the history, culture, lived experience, and enduring identity of the Chickasaw people.
With an anticipated opening in 2026, Nomad Studio is leading interpretive planning and content development for the project.
