Seedtime Acres: The Poverty Experience
Categories: Interior Exhibits
Location: Ohio
Located in Ohio, Seedtime Acres uses informational exhibits and immersive, interactive experiences to communicate the stark realities of global poverty. The site also serves as a retreat and gathering space, offering accommodations for groups, meetings, and events.
In 2024, Nomad Studio began working with Seedtime Acres to develop an interpretive plan and initial concept designs for a new suite of exhibits. This early phase included an introductory theater and nine gallery concepts addressing critical global challenges such as hunger, access to clean water, healthcare, education, and affordable housing. Each gallery highlights organizations—partners to Seedtime Acres—actively working around the world to address these issues.
Following a client-led dedicated fundraising phase to support full exhibit development, the project resumed in late 2025. Nomad Studio is currently advancing design development across all galleries, with an anticipated public opening in late 2026.
